WHAT'S NEW FOR THE 2023 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

The 2023 Land Rover Discovery adds the Metropolitan Edition for the model year, which features a 355-horsepower, inline-six engine, exclusive 22-inch wheels, a head-up display, a heated steering wheel, and heated seats for all three rows.

The exterior of the Discovery Metropolitan Edition boasts a unique grille, special emblems and silver bumper inserts. Inside, you can find a new Titanium Mesh trim which is displayed on the dashboard and door panels.

As far as changes to the pre-existing Discovery models, the Discovery R-Dynamic now has a standard black contrast roof, and all 2023 Discovery trims come with new standard features, including:

POWER AND PERFORMANCE

Depending on your preference for power and trim level, the new Discovery has two great engine options to choose from. Both come standard with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission across the lineup. They also help this model earn a maximum towing rating of more than 6,000 pounds, making it as useful as it is fun to drive.

Base model Discovery SUVs come powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is rated for 296 horsepower. Moving up to one of the other trims in the lineup, a turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine becomes available. It has mild hybrid technology built-in and packs 355 horsepower.

STYLE AND DESIGN

A midsized SUV that's spacious and comfortable, the Land Rover Discovery has four doors and a useful cargo hold in the rear that can accommodate everything from camping gear to groceries.

The best part about the spaciousness inside the Discovery is the customization options it allows for your family. Most people in Queens and Dix Hills prefer this SUV with three rows of seating and accommodations for seven, but a two-row, five-passenger configuration is also available.
